Building on Success - The renovations begin
The builders move in...Last week work started on our exciting new renovations and regular visitors to the Cheltenham surgery would have noticed that the old garage on the side of the building has been demolished to make way for our temporary reception area and consulting rooms.

Everyone at the Surgery has worked extremely hard to ensure that the level of service for all our pets and owners remains as high as possible and we hope that you will agree the Nurses have done a superb job in cleaning and tidying the new areas.

If you would like to see more photos of the building work, why not visit our Facebook page? You can also "Like" our page and keep up to date with the work as it progresses.

If you have any questions about the renovations or would like to hear more about our plans please do not hesitate to contact us or just call in to the Surgery and speak to one of the team.
Vets on the Park sponsor Cheltenham water polo star
JACK ARTHUR is making a splash in the water polo world after being selected to play for Wales. The Balcarras School pupil is also joining the Great Britain under 18s team - with a little help from Vets on the Park!

The 16-year-old said he took up water polo when he was about five after he got bored with swimming. "I train six times a week and it is cross fitness like sit-ups, push-ups and squats.I would like to be a professional player when I am older, but it depends on the funding."

Despite his international status, Jack receives no support financially.

Jack's teacher Paul Greenway wrote in the school newsletter: "Jack is an extremely modest young man who continues to manage his sporting commitments very effectively and without any fuss. I am writing, therefore, on Jack's behalf. If you, or a contact that you may have, are interested in giving some support to this hard working student, please contact me at school."

And the appeal paid off. Vets on the Park donated £250 to help Jack's bid.

Mr Greenway said: "This is a great boost to Jack and his family. They are hugely appreciative. I hope it will encourage others to do the same and that Jack can continue to thrive without breaking the bank for his parents."

Jack's dream would be to play at the Olympics. We wish Jack all the very best for the future.

Adopt a Bunny!

STOP PRESS: ALL BUNNIES HAVE NOW BEEN RE-HOMED!!

Four beautiful ginger dutch bunnies were abandoned outside our Tewkesbury Surgery last week. Thanks to an appeal in the The Gloucestershire Echo we have been able to find new homes for two of them. However we still need to find new owners for the remaining two.

As you can see from the photograph they are extremely cute and the Nurses have grown fond of them and we are sure that they will make good additions to any family.

If you would like more information about adopting the rabbits please call us on 01684 290 088 and speak to one of the team. But hurry - first come first served!
